I would really like to start learning HTML and using Dreamweaver MX to create websites, and also to learn how to create Flash animations.
Any good websites or tutorials out there that I can refer to to begin?

go to htmlgoodies.com - it's the best for HTML. Lots of examples and simple to follow instructions for newbies. I would suggest you borrow a Learn Dreamweaver in 30 days book(I learned it in 1 night for a job) and go for those ';50 most desired flash animations'; books. (These are the best because you get your hands on - it's better than learning step by step because you'll just mix it up - better to just jump right into it!)
I am 18 years old and knows alot about HTML just by researching it on the net...U find alot of diffent web sites that tell u alot...HTML is just like math formals u cant break them or have a letter wrong or nothing works...The easy way i found out to do HTML practice is on Myspace layouts...

Macromedia Dreamweaver Training
Review of Macromedia Dreamweaver 4 - Dreamweaver 3 was the best, Dreamweaver 4 is better. The new Dreamweaver has a little bit for everyone. The beginner will benefit immensely from such new features as the Table Layout View. The hand coder will find that Dreamweaver is even more code friendly than before, with a built in text editor, different code views and even Javascript debugging. Content teams will find the enhanced Design Notes to be a great help with team communication and should allow the team to work more efficiently.
Dreamweaver MX Tutorials - These new tutorials will give you a good start and understanding on how to effectively use Dreamweaver MX. This version of Dreamweaver is different from previous versions: it is powerful and comes with a lot of improvements to explore. How you use its new features depends on the types of web sites you typically make and the type of developer you are.

hey, what's up.
i'm sorry i'm a noob at both html and dreamweaver... but i think i can provide some assistance on the flash subject. my favorite flash sites for animation help are probably www.2flashgames.com and definitely www.newgrounds.com.
as for actionscripting tutorials, when you start making games and such, you can definitely rely on www.flashkit.com, newgrounds again, and www.actionscript.org is one of my favorites.
I hope this helps and good luck on your flash animations :)
I also recommend w3Schools
